Kenpoists Attend Gathering

Loreto College Kenpo Karate Schools chief instructor Senior Professor Alan Corrigan recently represented his school and country at the 2009 Gathering of the Eagles in Illinois, USA. The four-day event in Chicago - organised by the famous Tracy Brothers, Al and Jim - is held every two years and hosts some of the world’s most respected Martial Arts Instructors who teach seminars over the course of the weekend.

Loreto College Kenpo Karate Schools in Crumlin, Dublin graded three of its longest serving members when they visited the Channel Islands to take part in the 2008 World Kenpo Karate Championships in Jersey. Jonathan Tully and Ciaran Roberts graded for their 3rd degree black belt while Damien Tully earned his 2nd degree.

Loreto College Kenpo Karate School in Crumlin, Dublin recently competed in the 2008 World Kenpo Karate Championships in Jersey with great distinction picking up a massive haul of 38 trophies and medals at the championships. This was an impressive feat considering that close to 1,000 competitors from 24 countries were represented in the competition.
